Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, September 21st., Helen Sullivan, aged 82 years, formerly of Edinburgh, Scotland. Predeceased by her beloved husband Harold (August 1990), daughter Sheena (October 1947), infant son (May 1948), grandson Brian Dewling (November 1988) and grandson Andrew Sullivan (September 2006). Leaving with fond and loving memories son Derek (Betty), daughters Nancy, Carol and Elaine, six grandchildren: Dana Sullivan, David Sullivan (Lynn Panting), Chris Dewling, Kelly Cavalier (Ryan), Ryan Morrissey, Katie Morrissey and one great-grandson Mac Cavalier: also a large circle of of other relatives and friends, including the War Brides of Newfoundland and Labrador. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, September 22 and on Tuesday, September 23 and Wednesday, September 24th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, September 25th. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, beginning at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove.
