It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Stephen French announce his passing at The University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the age of 43 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Carleen Emily French of Stephenville; his parents, Bill and Norma French of Kippens; two brothers: Jamey (Jeanette) French of Corner Brook and Kevin Christian (Ruby Lainey) of Cape St. George; three sisters: Anita (Gerard) Pomeroy of Stephenville, Elaine (Keith) Layden of Corner Brook and Patty (Glenn) Leroy of Lloydminster, Alberta and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Bob French. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with cremation to follow. A private family interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Daffodil House would be greatly appreciated.
