It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hollie Payne announce her passing on Sunday, January 6th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 50 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Calvin, sons: Owen and Adam, Cox’s Cove, Hollie was a special baby sister to her sisters: Susie McLean, Summerside and Mary (Alex) Park, Cox’s Cove, brothers: Medrick (Bernice), Gerald (Nancy), Sam (Jennette), Llewelyn (Brenda) and Russell (Joan) all of Cox’s Cove; sister-in-law Judy (Clarence) Park, Cox’s Cove; brothers-in-law: Wayne Payne, Cox’s Cove, Darrell (Vera) Payne, Summerside, Lonnie (Kim) Hussey, Kitchener, Ont., and Ivan Park, Cox’s Cove; uncle and aunt Irvine and Pearl Park and her special pal Chong. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and a large number of special friends. She was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Olive Park, sister and brother-in-law Hilda and Bill Park, baby brother William, brother-in-law James McLean and mother-in-law Marie Payne. Friends may visit St. Nicholas‚ Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Tuesday from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 9th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
