It is with great sadness that the family of the late Howard Joseph Green announce his passing at the W.M.R. Hospital on Saturday May 25th, 2008 in Corner Brook, NL, in his 84th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mary, nee Kendell, his children: Jackie (Chess) White, Mike (Eileen) both of Deer Lake, Jocelyn (Mel) Gouthro, Joseph (Theresa) both of N.B, Irene (Ken) Rogers of Wabush, Paul of N.B, Robert (Dianne) of N.S, and Lisa (John) White of Foxtrap, NL. His 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. His dog Lady! Howard was predeceased by his 4 sons, granddaughter Diane, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 step- brothers and 2 step- sisters. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and his extended family. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, from the hours of 7-9 pm on Monday, May 26th, 2008 and on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 from the hours of 10 – 12. The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 at 2 pm from the Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake, with Father Adian Devine officiating with the Burial to follow at the Roman Catholic section of the Wights Road Cemetery in Deer Lake.
