It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan Park announce his passing on Sunday, December 14th, 2008 at the age of 49 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sisters: Lorie, Corner Brook, Sylvia (Reg Simpsons), Ontario, Linda (Calvin Park), McIvers, Maxine (Don Payne), Cox’s Cove and Trudy (Fred Best), Cox’s Cove; brothers: Wayne Payne, Cox’s Cove and Lonnie Hussey (Kim), Ontario; sister-in-law Donna Batstone, Corner Brook. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, too many to mention. He was predeceased by his mother Glorina Park, 1999, brothers Lawrence, 1993 and Calvin 2008, sister-in-law Hollie 2008 and brother-in-law Hillard 2005. Friends may visit St. Nicholas’‚ Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove beginning Tuesday at 2:00 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Stain Glass Window Fund of St. Nicholas’‚ Anglican Church. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook.
