It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy Florence Frampton (Hoddinott) announces her passing on May 24, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. She was born on April 24, 1920 at Indian Islands, daughter of the late Lemuel and Ida Hoddinott. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters: Marilyn Smart (Gilbert) of Steady Brook, NL and Beverley Frampton (Robert Belanger) of Lower Sackville, NS; grandchildren: Drew (Clare) of Dublin, Tyler (Jill) of Steady Brook and Julia Smart (Adam Day) of Halifax; Cassandra and Justin Belanger of Lower Sackville; great-granddaughter, Teagan Smart of Steady Brook; special nephew, Wilf Hoddinott (Beverley) of Ottawa; special niece, Vonnie (Roy) Hicks of Gander; sisters-in-law: Pamela Hoddinott of Truro and Ruth Hoddinott of Ottawa; brothers-in-law: Harold Collins (Joan) of St. John’s and David Lowe of Waco, Texas; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; especially the staff, owners, residents and health professions of the Guardian Angel Senior’s Home, Lark Harbour and Rev. Nellie Thomas and the Ladies’ Auxillary of St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth Allan Frampton (April 9, 2001); brothers: Donald, Gordon, Wilfred and Granville; and sisters: Ethel, Julia May, Alice and Dorothy. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating.
