It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Alvina Street announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband, Eldon; sons: Duane (Dianne), Glen and Jamie; grandchildren: Shane, Chantal, Andrew and Tristin; great-granddaughter, Mia; sisters: Mercedes Rowsell of Corner Brook, Annie (Philip) Payne of Trout River, Dinah (Ben) Crocker of Trout River, and Ruby (Don) Randell of Corner Brook; brothers: Bobby Brake (friend, Joyce) of Cormack, Ned (Marg) Brake of Corner Brook and Albert Brake of Toronto; and a large number of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Dinah and Les Brake; and sisters: Leona, Effie, Judy and Jane. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, September 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Parish, Park Drive with Rev. Gordon Druggett officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael’s Parish.
