It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Bradley Kendell announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the age of 62 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Mary Florence; one son, Byron (Tami) Kendell of Halifax, Nova Scotia; two daughters: Kimberly (Thomas) Hynes of Piccadilly and Christina (Dave) Patrick of Kitchener, Ontario; two brothers: Edward (Gertrude) Kendall of Port au Port and Fintan (Debbie) Kendall of Abraham’s Cove; five sisters: Madeline (Jack) Miese of Florida, Alice Kendall of Toronto, Veronica Kendall of Toronto, Mary (Barry) Tourout of Prince Edward Island and Ramona (Hillary) Lainey of Black Duck Brook; six grandchildren: Brandon, Bradley, Phillip, Benjamin, Dakota, Grayson and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Ursula Kendall; four brothers: Jerry, Donald, Michael and Hugh. Cremation has taken place at Russell’s Crematorium, Stephenville. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 30th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Piccadilly with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Piccadilly. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
