Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, Peter Tiller, aged 83 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Josephine, sister Sarah, parents Mark & Bessie Tiller, sister-in-law Jacqueline Parsons, and parents-in-law Capt. Frank and Gertrude Parsons. Leaving to mourn son Sean (Dianne); daughter Sonja Sarfi (Carl); brother Samuel (Joan); grandchildren Eli, Josephine, Josiah and Shekinah; extended family Agnes and Gordon Slade, Kay Parsons (Randy), Bob Parsons (Jane); loving nieces Janet-Lynn (Nick), Paula (Vic), Trina (Eric), and nephew Troy (Monique); and a large circle of dear friends and relatives. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 7-10 p.m. and Friday, September 26, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from George Street United Church on Saturday, September 27 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date.
