It is with great sadness that the family of the late John James Molloy announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008 at the age of 75 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife Mary Violet; children: Genita (Kevin), William, Jimmy (Alena), all of Vancouver, BC, Manuel (Bridget), Brampton, ON, Janie (Kenny), Toronto, ON, Francis (Darlene) and Della (Gerard), all of Flat Bay, NL; grandchildren: Lisa, Laura Lee, Dwayne, Melanie, Daniel, Diane and Deidre; great-grandchildren: Tyrell, Autumn, Aleah, Jason and Adreana; brothers & sisters: Manuel (Shirley), Reg (Shirley), all of Harbour Breton, Clyde (Barb), Whitlaw, AB and Clara (Ralph), Corner Brook; aunt Maggie Snook, Harbour Breton; step-mother Marie Samms, Corner Brook, along with a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Maude and William; daughter Della; grandson Lester and sister Kay. Friends may visit St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Flat Bay on Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 5th at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Father Gerard Patry officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
