It is with great sadness that the family of the late Julia Parsons announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four children: John (Rebecca), Sam (Amie), Jerry (Peggy) and Peggy Snooks (Clarence); brother William Ezekiel, and sister-in-law eight grand-children and 10 great grandchildren as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and very special friends Judy Burridge, Mabel Tulk, and Anna Quilty. She was predeceased by her husband John Joseph Parsons, parents Sam and Margaret Ezekiel, brother Philip Ezekiel, sister Mary Philippa Ezekiel, father and mother-in-law John & Sarah Parsons, brothers and sisters-in-law Patrick Hickey, Leo Parsons, Ida (Alfred) Berkshire, Annie (Frank) Downey, Laura (John) Hepditch and Maude (Frank) Berkshire. The Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday, April 11th at 10:30 a.m. from The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Visitation was held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue Friday, April 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Most Holy Redeemer Parish.
