It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Young announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by his children, three brothers: James (Lorraine) Young of Stephenville, Mike (Maude) Young of Stephenville, Hector (Geraldine) Young of Sheaves Cove, one sister, Maisie Jesso of Cape St. George and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary Cecilia Young, brothers, Wallace and Larry Young, sister, Geraldine Jesso. Cremation will take place. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 11th at 2:30 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheaves Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
