It is with great sadness that the family of the late Loretta Mary MacDonald (nee Woodfine) announce her passing at her residence in Felix Cove on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the age of 49 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, James; two sons: Adam (Kelly Rubel) of St. Catherine’s, Ontario and Alan (April Woods) of Stephenville; her father, David Woodfine of Stephenville; three brothers: David (Lynn) Woodfine of Clarenville, Patrick (Debra) Woodfine of Stephenville and Joseph (Paula) Woodfine of Stephenville; eight sisters: Patricia (Tom) Doyle of Kippens, Nellie (Gordon) Bragg of Kippens, Darlene (Truman) Greenham of Kippens, Julia (Peter) Gillis of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Alice (Calvin) Cull of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, Deborah Woodfine, Tammy Woodfine and Madonna Corrigan, all of Stephenville; one step-granddaughter, Madison Rubel; 54 nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Julia Woodfine. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
