It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Bragg announces her passing on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her sister: Minnie Marche of St. John’s; brothers: Cecil (Phyllis) Avery of Southport, Silas (Minnie) Avery of Random Island, Arthur (Una) Avery of Random Island, Leslie (Daphane) Avery of Random Island, Clifford (Joyce) Avery of Random Island: as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Melvin; parents: Walter and Jane Avery; and her sister: Gwendolyn Lambert. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, May 5, 2008, from 7-9 pm, and on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 10 am-12 pm. The funeral service will take place at Kingdom Hall, Premier Drive on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment at the Jehovah Witness Cemetery, Pasadena. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall.
