It is with great sadness that the family of the late Manson King announce his passing at his residence in Mattis Point on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the age of 47 years. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Martha Ann King of Mattis Point, three brothers: Edward King, Garland (Jackie) King, Baron (Michelle) King, all of Mattis Point and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Cecil King, sister, Darlene Madore, grandparents, Jane and Hubert Young, Elizabeth and Charles King. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 5th at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Mattis Point. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
