Margaret Theresa Hayes passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the Dartmouth General Hospital in the presence of her loving family. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she was the daughter of Myra Hayes and the late Thomas Edward Hayes. Margie is survived by her spouse John Bodden (Dartmouth), mother Myra Hayes (George Jones) (Corner Brook, NL), brother Thomas Hayes (Brandon, MB), sister Pauline Hayes (Darryl Foster) (Portage La Prairie, MB), daughters; Tara Hayes (Portage La Prairie, MB), Crystal Hayes (Taro Saito) (Halifax, NS); and Karen Dalley (Miramichi, NB), grandchildren, Jadon, Kayleigh and Cadence Hayes; special nephews, Eric, and Alex. Extended family; Arthur and Doreen Bodden, Heather Bodden (Laurie Custance), Keith Bodden, Richard Bodden (Sue Surette), nieces and nephews; Eric, Karinne, Sabrina Lambert, Melissa Bodden-Fisher, Tyler George and special friend Newman Elford. Also, left to mourn are her aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Margie is predeceased by her father Thomas Hayes, brother Michael Hayes, paternal grandparents, Thomas and Margaret Hayes, maternal grandparents Selby and Beatrice Snooks and Uncle Lloyd Snooks. Cremation has taken place under the direction of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home in Dartmouth, NS.
