It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Bishop announce her passing on Tuesday, March 18th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 53 years William Bishop, son Gary (Elaine) Bishop, two grandchildren Connie (Mike) Legate and Michael Bishop, two great-grandchildren James and Jenna Legate, brothers and sisters: Ken (Madonna) King, John (Florence) King, George (Doris) King, Edward (Mary) King, Vince King, Alice (Ray) Wiseman, Gerald (Mary) King, Cathy (Randy) Tyler and Loretta Morris. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, always known as Nanny Marion to Kalinka, Sue-Ellen and Daniel. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Margaret King, brother Jim King, sisters Mary McWhirter and Geraldine King. Friends may visit Holy Rosary Family Parish on Thursday from the hours of 10-12 noon from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 PM with Father Gordon Grace officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Holy Rosary Family Parish. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook.
