Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family Martha Marie Brenton, nee Pittman, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, on Monday March 23rd, 2009, in her 69th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Jeremiah Brenton, her children; Kenneth Brenton, of Sop's Arm, Barry (Wavey) Brenton of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Ches (Florence) Brenton of Jackson's Arm, Wallace (Leonne) Brenton of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Malcolm (Carol) Brenton of Edmonton, Alberta, Elias (Tammy) Brenton, Cyril (Kelly) Brenton, and Gilbert (Tammy), all of Yellowknife, NT. Her 11 grandchildren; Bradley, Ryan, Brandon, Justin, Carly, Lisa, Jerri, Sarah, Victoria, Braden, and Brianna, her 4 great grandchildren; Brooke Gage, Landon, and Liam. Her mother; Mrs. Margaret Pittman, her sisters; Daphne (Scott) Pinksen, Mrs. Edna Pittman, Jessie Pittman (Morris Ford), and Mrs. Elma Pittman, her brothers; Cyril (Theresa) Pittman, Alonzo (Ann) Pittman, Hubert Pittman, and Gary (Patsy) Pittman. Martha was predeceased by her father; James Pittman, her brother; Gilbert Pittman, her sisters; Rose Gillingham and Winnie Pittman, her brothers-in- law; Eli Pittman and Harold Pittman. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her extended family. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Jackson's Arm, today Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 from the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, and Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 from the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, from where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, March 26th, 2009 at 11 am with the Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Jackson's Arm.
