It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Green announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: John of Corner Brook, Gary of Mt. Moriah, Gerry of Toronto, Brendan of British Columbia, David of Toronto, Rosiland of Toronto, Cathy of Toronto, Geraldine of Bay Bulls, NL, Randy of British Columbia, Donnie of Toronto, Derek of Toronto, Lorne of Toronto and Roger of British Columbia; two sisters: Nora Griffin of Corner Brook and Mercedes Anthony of Nova Scotia; one brother, William (Bill) Wells of Corner Brook; special great grandson, Gary; and a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hynes officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
