It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Frances Jesso announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the age of 91 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Roy (Ruth) Jesso in Port Elgin, Ontario, Myron (Bernadette) Jesso in West Bay Centre, five daughters: Vivian (Paul) Carroll of Maine, USA, Zella (Edward) Mehalko of Delaware, USA, Valetta Jesso of West Bay Centre, Shirley (late Tony) O’Quinn of West Bay, Ruby Shaer of Peterborough, Ontario, 29 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, as well as several great-great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Joseph Jesso in 1987, daughter Gretel Roberts in 1987, two brothers, Peter and Fred Moores, sister, Mary Ann Marche, two sons-in-law, Tony O’Quinn and Baptiste Barter, grandson, Charles Mehalko and her special canine companion, Midnight. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at her late residence in West Bay Centre on Thursday evening, April 10th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdes with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in West Bay. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
