(Jeannie) (nee Bishop) It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a loving and adored wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Jean passed away at the Health Science Centre on September 26th, 2008 following a brave and brief illness. Mary Jean (Jeannie) Kavanagh, aged 61 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband Bill; daughter: Debbie (Russe Zacharias); granddaughters: Caitlin and Kristen Zacharias; sons: Bill, Rod and Dennis; she is also survived by her three sisters: Maureen Murphy, Rose Reardon (Bill) and Bernice; four brothers: Dave (Loretta), John (Geraldine), Bernard (Bernadette) and Doug (Denise); Four sisters-in-law: Margaret, Mildred, Anne and Stella; one brother-in-law: Dennis (Madeline); special friends Doreen Hillier, Barb Auchinleck as well as other special cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including the Monday night Card Club. We are grateful to the nurses and staff of the CVICU, ICU, CCU and the nurses and staff on the 5th floor South A. Also a special thank you to Father Roche. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Cremation to follow.
