With sadness the family of Mary Bourgeois announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington, ON in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband, Harold; will be greatly missed by daughter, Patricia Ryan (Terry), grandchildren Gregory and Andrew (Alix) of Burlington. She is survived by her only living sibling, Marie Mitchell (Kelowna. BC) and special nephew Daniel Wheeler (Summerside) along with loving nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law across Canada. Mary is pre-deceased by her brother Edward and sister Joan Gill. Born in the Bay of Islands, Mary lived in the Corner Brook area, retired from the City of Corner Brook in 1989 and moved to Burlington in 2006. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Rd., Burlington on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial in Corner Brook at a later date.
