It is with great sadness that the family of the late Muriel B.S. Halfyard announce her Passing on Friday, June 6th, 2008 at the W.M.R.Hospital in her 69th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 55 years Douglas. 7 children, Myron of Glenburnie, Todd of Brampton, Dale (Glenda) of Pasadena, Gary (Wavey) of Brampton, Judy (Will Anderson) of Shoal Brook, Cindy (Sid) Anderson of Brampton, Angela Halfyard (Ted Velasco) of Brampton. 7 grandchildren, Wendi (Clifton Barnes) of Glenburnie, Vicki Anderson (Steven Spierenburg) of Milton, Ontario, Julia Halfyard of Pasadena, Ryan and Kyle Halfyard both of Brampton, Joshua and Jessica Velasco of Brampton. 2 great-grandchildren Billy and Michael Barnes both of Glenburnie. 4 sisters, Marjorie (William Young) of Glenburnie, Joan Goosney (Cecil Martin) of Woody Point, Betty (Eric Colbourne) of Lewisporte and Daisy Raike of Deer Lake. 6 brothers Clyde (Maxine) of Lewisporte, Otto (Claudine) Glenburnie, Robert (Linda) of Guysborough, N.S. Tony (Margaret) of Deer Lake, Terry (Joy Halfyard) of Glenburnie, Danny (Eulah) of Glenburnie. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Sarah & George Raike, sister Wanda and brothers Gordon and George. Visitation will take place from the United Church in Shoal Brook today, Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where also funeral service will take place on Monday June 9th 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
