It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nellie Perry announce her passing on Friday, March 7th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her son: Brian; sisters and brothers: Dorothy Paddock, Marie Croucher, Alice Rideout, Joy Skaja (Jerome), Lawrence Heath (Marilyn) and Helen Roberts (Jerry); brothers -in-law Robert Perry (Shirley), Garland Perry (Stella), David Perry (Gloria); sister-in-law: Barbara Gillett (Elmer); special mention to Nellie’s cousin, Margaret Young and family; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband George, June 3, 1997; and parents, Clara and Walter Heath. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street. Reverend Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, Corner Brook Branch.
