It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Edwin Compton announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the age of 91 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Victoria and three sons: Winston (Martha) Compton of Happy Valley, Goose Bay, Nelson (Sadie) Compton of ColdBrook, Nova Scotia, Vaden (Linda) Compton of Fort McMurray, Alberta, one daughter, Isabel (Orlando) Bushey of Kippens, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Pentecostal Church, Carolina Avenue, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
