It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Pennell announce his passing on Friday, September 12th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook in his 88th year. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Pennell, October 11th, 2007. He will be terribly missed by his children: Amanda (Larry), Rosalind (George), Vera (Mike), Dianne (Donald), Donna (Paul), Randy (Cathy), David (Debbie); grandchildren: Mark, Sherri Lynn, Amanda, Jason, Natasha, Lauren and Stephen; great granddaughter Morgan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street, Reverend Canon Derek Thomas officiating, followed by the interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
