It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Young announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the age of 58 years. He will be sadly missed by his brother, Percy (Pearl) Young of Mattis Point; two sisters: Martha King of Mattis Point, Carolyn Ryan of Mattis Point; and a circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Hubert and Jane Young. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, February 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Mattis Point.
