It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Kenneth Osmond announce his passing in Saskatchewan on Thursday, February 12th, 2009 at the age of 50 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Ruth, two sons: Gavin and Kyle, both of Ship Cove, parents, Bertram and Jessie Osmond of Port aux Basques, three brothers: Melvin of Port aux Basques, Wayne (Tina) of Port aux Basques, Darrell of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, one sister, Doris (Junior) Carter of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and the White family; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Piccadilly on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Piccadilly with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Ship Cove. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
