It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Pynn announces her passing at the J.I. O’Connell Centre on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her sons: Gus (Jean), Max (Sandy), Gary, Wayne, Terry, David, Murray and Allan (Kathy); daughters: Linda, Ruby and Donna (Kevin); 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Anne Griffin; brother, Harry Hynes (Jenny); and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Curtis Hynes and Gertrude French; daughter, Evelyn; son, Keith; brother, George; sister, Mario; brothers-in-law, Tom Griffin and Pat Prillo; and sister-in-law, Carrie. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Memorial United Church, Curling on Friday, August 1, 2008 with Rev. Margie Wood officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
