David Brent Curtis is now enjoying the glories of heaven. His passing occurred on April 14, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 17, 1947 in Zealand, he was a son of the late Donald and Eugenia (Brewer) Curtis. David worked at the York Street Courier Service through Jobs Unlimited. He was a member of the Fredericton Free Presbyterian Church and the Special Olympics bowling team. David attended Camp Rotary. He enjoyed singing, music and old cowboy movies. David is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Morehouse (Leslie) of Zealand and Wendy Sullivan (Fred) of Fredericton; nieces and nephews, Cynthia, Riann, Dana, Brienne (Jason), Derek and Brett; great nephew, Nathan David; uncle, Reginald; aunts, Ella Curtis and Nony Flemming; several cousins and special care givers, Alvin and Ruth Austin. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three infant siblings.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 2 pm with Mr. Neil Sampson officiating. Interment will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Zealand.
