The passing of Margaret Thorne, wife of the late Harold Thorne occurred on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on July 2, 1927 at Toronto, ON to the late Duncan and Ethel (Greer) Wright. Margaret enjoyed spending many summers at Pirates Cove Campground. Margaret is survived by her two daughters: Sherry McGilvary (Paul) and Maureen Bonnell (Stephen) both of Saint John; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and her cat, Baby. Besides her husband and parents, Margaret was predeceased by her daughter, Margaret MacDonald and brother, Douglas Wright.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 PM and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
