It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah (Sadie) Noseworthy announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her sons: Chris (Janet) of Cathedral City, California, Bryan (Gloria) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Peter (Elaine) of Corner Brook and Michael (Clara) of Cottam, Ontario; special niece, Valerie (Sam Tulk) of Kingston, Ontario; grandchildren: Leslie Anne, Adam, Scott, Stephen, Carolyn, Melissa and Joshua; brother-in-law, Harry Noseworthy; extended family: Tony, Rodney, Geoffrey and families; and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie G. Noseworthy, and parents, Alex Burke and Mary (McCarthy). Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from Most Holy Redeemer Parish with Father Hynes officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Saint Vincent the Paul Society.
