It is with great sadness that the family of the late Susan Davis announce her passing on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook, at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Peggy Ann Davis, ON, Frank J. (Patsy), Gander, Keith A., Cormack; grandchildren: Melanie (Philip) Barreiro, Brampton, ON, Clinton Morris, Peterborough, ON, Nicholine (Dwayne) Davis, Halifax, Dana Davis (Matthew), Quebec; great-grandchildren: Austin and Justin Barreiro, Brampton, ON; sisters and brothers: Vivian Gallant, Judy Cunard, Marion Wells, Loretta Warren, Dulcie Simmonds, Pleman Hoddinott, Ralph Hoddinott and Harvey Hoddinott; brother-in-law Gerald (Mona) Davis, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: William and Maude Hoddinott; husband Frank G. Davis; brothers: Clyde and Gordon Hoddinott; brothers-in-law: Isaac Wells, Stephen Cunard and Geverise Gallant; sister-in-law Blanche Hoddinott. Friends may visit the Anglican Church in Cormack on Friday, May 23rd between the hours of 1-4 pm, from where the Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 2:00 pm with Canon David Pearce and Reverend Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Cormack. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
