Agnes Gertrude "Queenie" MacDonald, 85, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born July 15, 1924 in Montréal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Paul Émile Major and Gertrude Goodwin, the beloved wife of the late Dr. William D. MacDonald, the loving mother of Peter and his wife, Anita Leger-MacDonald of Shediac, grammie to her grandson, Tristan and his wife, Alicia , and great-granddaughter, Annabelle of Alberta. She was also predeceased by her two sisters; Lorainne and Roma.
The family will receive condolences from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 19 at Frenette's Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac. No funeral service by request.
