Family and friends of the Honorable P. Lloyd Soper, who passed away in St. John’s on March 6, 2009, will celebrate his life with music and tributes at the First United Church in Corner Brook on Friday, March 20 at 7 pm. Any one who would like to remember Lloyd Soper is invited. After the celebration the UCW will host a reception. The funeral service was held in St. John’s at Gower Street United on March 9. At a later date, interment will be in Brigus, where his wife Elizabeth’s ashes are also interred. Memorial contributions may be made to the Honourable P. Lloyd Soper and Elizabeth Soper Endowment Fund, Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Corner Brook.
