It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Bourne announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the age of 82 years. She will be sadly missed by two brothers: William (Cecilia) of McKay’s and John of McKay’s; two sisters: Myrtle (Jack) Spurrell of Toronto and Mildred McKay of McKay’s and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Ethel Bourne. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville on Friday, November 14th at 2:30 p.m. with interment in the Anglican Section, Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
