Suddenly at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, of George Malcolm Matheson of Heatherdale, age 72 years.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Carver). Loving father of Bobby (Mary), Ottawa; Gary (Nancy), Whim Road; Sheila (Jimmie), Cardigan; and Ritchie (Karen), Brooklyn. Devoted grandfather of Ryan (Amanda), Jeremy, Mitchell and Patrick Matheson, Alyssa Matheson, Cynthia, Caitlin and Chelsey VanKeymeulen; Bayley and Taylor Matheson. Dear brother of Hector, Gordon, Catherine (Irving) MacKay, Marjorie (Donnie) Munro, John (Lois), Margaret Carmichael and Malcolm (Vaunda). Also survived by sisters-in-law, Emily Matheson, Hazel MacLeod; and brother-in-law, Neil Brydon.
Predeceased by his parents, Malcolm and Annie (nee MacKinnon); sisters, Christine and Mary; brother, Earle; half brother, Lloyd MacKinnon; and
brother-in-law, Donnie Carmichael.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Sunday, then to Hillcrest United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Valleyfield Cemetery.
Visitation: Saturday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
