It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Ernest Snook, announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 at the age of 75 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters and brothers; Mrs. Ivy Young, of Glenburne, Samuel (Kathleen) Snook of Trout River, Newman (Beatrice) Snook of Rocky Hr, Marie (Austin) Crocker of Trout River, Brada (Reginald) Welsh of Rocky Hr, Harold (Sharon) Snook of Moncton, N.B., Dorothy (Leonard) White and Dale (John) Young both of Trout River. Walter was predeceased by his parents; James and Catherine Snook, his brother; Alexander (Florence) Snook, and brother-in-law; George Young. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Salvation Army Church in Trout River, today Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where also the Funeral service will take place from on Thursday, April 9th, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Mr. Derek Fudge officiating with the Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Trout River. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army church in Trout River in Walters memory would be gratefully appreciated . The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.
