Passed peacefully away at St. Lukes Home on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010, Ethel Mae Elliott, in her 101st year, born July 12th, 1909. Predeceased by her husband Ebert, parents and sister, Stella Hodder. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Millicent (Don) Collins, St. John's, Yvonne (Wilf) Cluett-Watson, Smith's Falls, Ont., Muriel (Doug) Chaytor, St. John's and son John/Jack (Lorraine), Gander, NL; grandchildren: Wayne, Kim, Lynda, Gary, Stephen, Brian, Brad, Peter, Susan and Mark and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are step-sisters: Barbara Decker of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Myra Adey of Gander, NL, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Barrett's Chapel on Friday, April 23rd at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
