BARTLETT- It is with heavy hearts the family of Moira Jean Bartlett of Bartlett Mills, NB, daughter of the late George and Irena Cook announce her passing at Royal Alexandria Hospital in Edmonton, AB on April 19, 2010 at the age of 80. Widow of the late Marvin D Bartlett.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Beth (Ed) Stinson of St. David Ridge, NB and Michelle (Stirling) McLaughlin of Whitecourt, AB; sons, Melvin (Maureen) of Fall River, NS and Tim of St. Andrews, NB; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Berla (Doug) Lord of St. Stephen, NB; brother, Blair (Elaine) Cook of DeWolfe, NB; brother and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Edward, brothers, Thomas, Ivan, Maurice (John) and Ronald Cook.
Mom loved her summers spent in the trailer at the Point in St. Andrews and cherished the many lifelong friends she and Dad made there. She enjoyed jigsaw and word puzzles and took great delight in playing games with her grandchildren. She was a member of Eastern Star and served as Treasurer of the St Andrews United Baptist Church for many years. She missed Dad and Edward terribly and we take comfort in knowing she's with them now.
Resting at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM
