Giuseppa "Pina" Tulliani of Kamloops passed away peacefully on April 20, 2010 at 86 years of age.

She is survived by her loving son Giulio, and predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Geltrude.

Giuseppa was born in Anagni, Italy. At a very early age she lost both of her parents and was taken care of by her grandmother until the age of six. She then entered an orphanage in Rome and lived there until she was eighteen. Coming out of the orphanage and into war ravaged Rome, she worked as a secretary and then as a nanny in Sicily. There she met her future husband Francesco. They moved to Canada in 1967 and settled first in Louis Creek and then in Kamloops in 1972, where she remained. Giuseppa enjoyed cooking, gardening, taking long walks, reading, crossword puzzles, and she loved animals.

Visitation will take place from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Reverend Father Peter Hoan Nguyen officiating. Following the service, Pina will be laid to rest in the Sage Valley Mausoleum.
