ABBOTT, Robert Newman - Bob passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease, at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents, John (1981) and Alice (1993). He is survived by his partner, 6 sisters, 3 brothers, as well as a wide circle of other relatives and friends in Newfoundland and Labrador, mainland Canada and the Netherlands. Cremation has taken place. No visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of St. John's.
