The passing of Robert Thomas Anson, of Fredericton, NB, devoted husband of the late Ruth (Hartt) Anson, occurred on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 16, 1938 in Winnipeg, MB, he was a son of the late Frederick and Martha (Hay) Anson. Robert was a program manager with City Cable Vision, Channel 10. He was a member of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church and of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 4. Robert enjoyed woodworking and painting. Robert is survived by his children, Kevin (Karen), David (Karla), Maria and Derek (Sigrid); treasured grampy of Brandon, Katie, Katheryne, Christopher, Maegan and Alex; great grampy to Noah, Logan and Jonah; sister, Dorreen; special lifelong friend, John Creaser.
A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 2 pm with Father Donald Savoie.
