It is with great sadness that the family of William Aloyisius "Bill" Barry announce his sudden passing at his residence in Corner Brook on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the age of 68 years. Left to mourn are his children: Michael (Trudy) of Port Saunders, Keith (Patti) of Quispamsis, New Brunswick and Joanne (Edward) of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Adam, Justin, Jeremy and Kendra, sister Doreen (David); niece Lori-Lynn; cousins: Georgine Schneider (Joe) and Isabelle Barry; special friends Denise and Larry Jones and Ken Simms, dad also leaves a circle of family and friends including his roommates, especially Jack Wheaton. Dad was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ann (Nee Piercey). Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter or the Kids with Cancer Travel Fund c/o the Janeway Children's Health Centre.
