Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, on Sunday April 25, 2010, age 87, of Point Verde, Placentia. Predeceased by his wife Julia (2008), his parents William and Elizabeth, brothers: Ronald, Aloysius and Father Charles and sisters: Magdalen, Mary (Browne) and Milly Young. He leaves to mourn with loving memories his children: Margie (Varrick Cooper), Janet (Ray Bell), Rosanne, Charlie (Mary), Brian (Judi), Regina (Mike McGrath), Emmie, Ronnie (Lisa) thirteen grandchildren, his sister Agnes Maijala, brother-in-law Casimir Browne, also a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially the residents and staff at the Lions Manor Nursing Home. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, at a time and date to be given later, pending arrival of family from out of Canada. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to The Alzheimer's Society in Brian's memory (cards are available at the funeral home). Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church.
