It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnifred Perry announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre on Saturday, May 17th, 2008, in her 80th year. She will be sadly missed by her children: Nedean (Cyril) Major, Adelaide (Otto) House, Doris Thorne, Shawn (Amelia) Perry, her daughter-in-law Rosemary Perry, Enos (Gloria) Perry, Norman (Dona) House; her grandchildren: Danny Major, Paula Thorne, Travis Perry, Gillian Perry, Lela Perry, Curtis Perry, Chantal Perry, Cody Perry; her great-grandchildren: Jessica House and Connor Caines, also her brother Bradley (Margaret) House, her sister, Aurelia Hull (John), her brothers- in-law: Brinkley (Beatrice) Perry, her sisters-in-law: Lorretta (Boyd) Laventure, Faye (Desmond) Sonley, Catherine Perry, Mary House, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Perry, her parents: Caroline and Agustus House, her in-laws: Norman and Cora Perry, her sisters: Doris Payne and Flora Bennett, her brother, Clayton House, brothers-in-law: John Hull, Clayton Payne, Stanley Bennett and Curtis Perry, her sister-in-law, Myra Perry. The family received family and friends from the Anglican Church in Daniels Harbour on Sunday, May 18th, and Monday, May 19th where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at 2 PM with Rev. James Pratt officiating. The burial followed at the Holy Cross Anglican Cemetery, Daniels Harbour. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home, 63 Northmain St., Deer Lake.
