REID, Linda May– (June 6, 1946 — September 29, 2008). As the world slept, our precious loved one slipped into eternal rest at her home, next to her life partner, as was her wish. Predeceased by parents; Ida and Selby Howell, parents-in-law, Lilly and Samuel Reid, sisters-in-law, Norma Reid, Violet Knee and Lily Howell, brother-in-law, Harry Warren. Left to celebrate her life and mourn their loss; her loving and devoted husband, Wallace; children: Sherrylee (Chris) Hillier, Stephen (Andrea), and Stanley (Claudette). Also, the world's greatest gifts in her life, her pride and joys - her grandchildren: Kyra, Dylan, Brandon, Amber, Hunter, Emily and Nathan. Also lovingly remembered by brothers: Selby (Evelyn), Lloyd (Betty), sisters: Elaine and Evelyn; brothers-in-law: Doug (Eileen), Harold (Laura), Samuel (Jackie), Mundon (Glennis), Percy Knee, sister-in-law: Audrey (Peter) Stoyles; special cousin, Rita White; neighbor and friend, Edith Thorne. She will also be remembered by a number of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Resting at St. John the Baptist Church in Chapel Arm on Tuesday, September 30th from 7:00 pm until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from St. John the Baptist Church on Thursday, October 2nd at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Long Harbour Road.
