1927-2010 - Evelyn Cormier, 82, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.
Born in St-Anselme, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albénie and the late Emma (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards and was a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Cormier is survived by four daughters: Denise (Emery) Gagnon of Irishtown, Yvette Cormier of Dieppe, Cécile (Guy) Mazerolle and Joanne Cormier (Gary Knott) both of Moncton; three sisters: Iona Richard of Dieppe, Mae LeBlanc of Tracadie and Florine (Ubald) Leger of Cocagne; five grandchildren: Marc, Gilles, Nicole, Daniel and Christine, one great grandson, Samuel as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Amedée in 2002; one adopted son, Edgar LeBlanc; one sister, Violette and also by three brothers: Alcide, Edgar and Thomas.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at 10 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
