C. Douglas Colwell passed away in St. John's, NFLD after a courageous battle with cancer on April 27, 2010. He was the son of the late Clarence Jr. and Dorothy Colwell (Kern). He is survived by his children in Toronto Mark (Sharon) Colwell, their children Jakob and Nathaniel; daughter Heather (Jœl) Zigelstein and their children Matthew and Ally; partner Shirley Wheatley; family in Saint John, brother Ron Colwell; sisters Beatrice MacKellar, Barbara Colwell (Ganong) and Janet Williston; an aunt, an uncle and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary, St. Bartholomew Church, 646 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB on Monday, May 3rd at 2 P.M with reception to follow.
