1938-2010
In Halifax, on April 22, 2010, following a brief illness.
Peggy was born in Souris River, P.E.I., and moved to Montreal in 1958 where she attended Saint Joseph Teacher's College and later went on to teach at several high schools, including Saint Paul's, Laurier-Macdonald and Villa Maria. She spent her retirement years in Halifax and Marriott's Cove, N.S.
She will be deeply missed by her companion, Allan Godfrey of Halifax; her daughters, Jennifer Maude (Brent Collyer) of Milton, Ont.; and Melissa Maude (Gareth Sargeant) of Montreal; grandchildren, Ethan, Jason and Claire Collyer and John and Marianne Sargeant.
Predeceased by her parents, Mary Etta and Howlan Mullally; brothers, Paul (Anna Mae) of Souris East and David (Paulette) of Souris River.
She is survived by siblings Dunstan (Theresa), Marie (Pat Landrigan) and Joe (MaryAlice) of Ottawa, Desmond (Rose Ann) of St. Catharines, Anthony (Joan) of Boston, Bill (Kathleen) of Toronto, Mike of Souris River, P.E.I.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit, Victoria General Hospital.
